Ronald Tse is the founder and CEO of Ribose, leading strategic development and its
technology roadmap. He graduated from Brown University with bachelor's degrees
magna cum laude in Computer Science and Biology, and a master's degree in
Computer Science. Previous to Ribose, Ronald worked on highly-scalable
distributed systems at Brown and MIT, with a background in the life sciences
His mission is to bring peace of mind to organizations and individuals alike by helping them protect their data through the application of security and privacy technology. He currently co-chairs the CSA SaaS Governance working group and the CalConnect TC VCARD (digital contact exchange) committee, chairs the CalConnect PC SEC (secure calendaring) committee.
Ronald is an expert delegate to the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 committee for the CSA and Hong Kong, a liaison representative of CalConnect to ISO TC 211, a voting member of the CSA International Standardization Council and a representative of Hong Kong in the Guangdong-HK Informatisation Committee. He is a member of Sigma Xi, an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy, a CISSP-ISSAP, ISSMP, CSSLP, CAP, SSCP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, PSM I-II-III, PSPO I-II, PSD, CCIE #9650 and a lead auditor in ISO/IEC 27001.
