Ronald Tse is the Founder and CEO of Ribose, leading strategic development and its
technology roadmap. He graduated from Brown University with bachelor's degrees
magna cum laude in Computer Science and Biology, and a master's degree in
Computer Science.
His mission is to bring peace of mind to organizations and individuals
alike by helping them protect their data through the application of security
and privacy technology. Previous to Ribose, Ronald worked in the life sciences industry
and on highly-scalable distributed systems at Brown and MIT.
Ronald is a Director of the Board and the Director of External Relationships at CalConnect,
the Founding Chair of the CSA SaaS Governance working group and
Co-chair of the CalConnect TC VCARD (digital contact exchange) committee,
an expert delegate to the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 committee, a liaison representative
of CalConnect to ISO TC 211, and a voting member of the CSA International Standardization Council.
He also represents Hong Kong at China's National Information Security Standards Committee (TC 260) at CESI
and the Hong Kong/Guangdong Informatisation Committee.
He is an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy, a member of Sigma Xi, a
CISSP-ISSAP, ISSMP, CSSLP, CAP, SSCP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT,
CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, PSM I-II-III, PSPO I-II, PSD,
CCIE Emeritus #9650 and a lead auditor in ISO/IEC 27001.
